how to connect in 90 seconds 1
1. smile and look them in the eye - it says you are honest and interested in them - you message goes where your voice goes and your voice goes where your eyes send it - look at their eye color
2. be a chameleon - syncronize body language and voice patterns (speed, pitch, tone, volume), and attitude
3. capture the imagination and you capture the heart - imagination is the key to the emotions
people have to want to help you

- 3 elements that must be present for effective pursuasion (trust, logic, and emotion)
- when you blow your first impression, you have to resort to one of the other ways to take control of the situation
raw language of the brain is by the SENSES - how it looks, sounds and feels - not by the abstract
non-verbal stuff
people are drawn to health and vitality
point my heart at the persons heart
let people see that
take notice of their eye color
ask a softening question first - "excuse me, may i ask you a question?"
say "great!" to make yourself smile
immediately syncronize tone of voice and body language with theirs - if there are many, do each one turn by turn
